Mita Sanshodo

Company was founded in Tatebayashi City in 1928, originally started as a stamp shop. Stamps are engraved with names on materials such as boxwood and buffalo horn. For everyone, one’s name is the most important thing that rings out loud. We express this quickly in a variety of materials using methods such as “carving,” “pile,” “sew,” “burning,” and “chemical changes.”

Mita Sanshodo makes premium stationery for an elevated writing experience. They are dedicated to craftsmanship and community, whether in Tatebayashi City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan, or the world at large. Drawing upon nearly 100 years of experience, their mission is to breathe life into the act of writing.
