Pierre Cardin

Pierre Cardin was a French designer born in Venice of Italy. He moved to France at the age of two and grew up there where his fervent passion in dressmaking was budded. Mr Cardin became head of Christian Dior’s tailleure atelier in 1947, and later founded his own company. He has become a legendary name in the fashion industry, and is well known for his avant-garde style and Space Age design.
