Lamy Safari Matte Red

This pen is available only in China and it seems to be on regular sale (I’ve bought it in the second design of packaging).

It comes with Kanji nib. Following text is from Ink House, where I bought that pen.

In 2016, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Lamy 2000 series, a proposal was put forth at the Lamy headquarters in Germany to create a customized nib specifically designed for Chinese characters. The aim was to promote the art of Chinese calligraphy and writing culture.

LAMY, having knowledge and appreciation for Chinese calligraphy, granted special approval to initiate this unique project in the latter half of 2017. Extensive research was conducted, and a new machine was developed to facilitate the production of the new nib.

Following rigorous testing and feedback from Chinese writing users, a total of 20 different samples were repeatedly evaluated. After nearly five years of meticulous preparation, the nib was finally deemed ready for release to the public. This customized nib, tailored for Chinese characters, bears the distinctive sharpness required for precise and elegant writing
